About
For 30 years, this Santa Fe artist has focused on surface detail and texture in her work, applying acrylic, oil, pastel, rice paper and beeswax to Masonite panel. Given her background in ceramics and textiles, it's not suprising that her work has a highly tactile quality. Her richly textured color-field paintings have reminded viewers of rock formations, flowing water, fire embers, a butterfly's wing, and the transition of a cloud as it shifts. She connects the audience to their owns inner fires, fertile valleys, and cool still waters. |
